Dr. D.T. (Tjalling) Jager

After studying biology (ecology and mathematical biology) at the VU (Amsterdam), I have worked for 9 years at the RIVM (Bilthoven), laboratory for Ecotoxicology. In this period, I developed and analysed decision-support systems for risk assessment; later I also focussed on modelling the bioaccumulation of chemicals in organisms. My present work is in the exciting interplay of ecotoxicology, physiology, ecology, modelling and statistics.
