Registration and fees
This page only shows the prices for the congres, social program and hotel and methods to pay.

Registration of participants will be handled by the Conference Service of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. (VU Conference Service: vu_conference@dienst.vu.nl)
If you are a student you have to send some proof to show you are entitled to the reduced fee.
How and when to register
Registration fees include admission to all sessions, a program and abstract book, coffee, tea and admission to the welcoming reception.
Advanced registration is recommended. On site registration is strongly discouraged but possible.
The registration desk will be located on the ground floor of the Main building of the Vrije Universiteit. It will be open on:

Payment
You can pay by cheque, bank remittance and credit card. Registration will not be valid until the required fee has been received. All payments must be in Dutch currency (NLG). Participants' registration will not be confirmed until receipt of the registration fee.
Please indicate your name and address clearly on all money transfers.
There are three modes of payment:
- by cheque, payable to "TMBM99", c/o VU Conference Service, de Boelelaan 1105, 1081 HV Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Personal cheques cannot be accepted! The ammount per eurocheque should not exceed NLG 300,-. - Remitted to ING Bank, Amsterdam, account nr 67.59.68.232 (SWIFT code ING-NL-2A) in favour of "TMBM99", c/o VU Conference Service, de Boelelaan 1105, 1081 HV Amsterdam, the Netherlands, through your bank.
- By credit card. (American Expres, Diners Club, Eurocard, Mastercard or Visa).
All prices are in Dutch Guilders. The exchange rate is on 13 Januari 1999 approximately:

Cancellation
In case of cancellation the total fee minus the handling charges (NLG 80,-) will be refunded, provided a written request is received by the VU Conference Service before June 1 1999.
Registration Fees and Other Costs
All Fees are in Dutch Guilders (NLG).
The early fee applies when registering before before April 1, 1999.
Congres
(*)Membership will be checked against membership lists provided by ESMTB and SMB. Note that the ESMTB requires members to pay their 1999 contribution before January 31, 1999, to qualify for the reduced registration fee.

Social program
The social programme consists of the following events:

The Amsterdam City Council has a discouragement policy concerning the use of cars in the city centre. Therefore there is very limited free parking in the city. Since Amsterdam has a dense public transport network, including bus, tram and subway, participants are strongly advised to take advantage of it. You can book a 5-day `go as you please ticket' (NLG 27,-) on the registration form.
Attending the conference dinner will be an additional NLG 75,-
Hotel
A deposit of NLG 350,- per room is required and has to be remitted in advance. Upon receipt of this amount, the hotel reservation will be confirmed and a hotel deposit voucher will be sent, less NLG 27,50 for reservation and bank charges. The value of the voucher will be deducted from your final hotel bill.
In case of cancellation the total amount minus handling charges (NLG 50,-) will be refunded, provided a written request is received by Carlson Wagonlit Travel before June 21, 1999.
Rates stated are an indication per room, per day and include breakfast, services and taxes.
